    Suburban Voluntaryist
Suburban Voluntaryist The presentation I gave at Libertopia last year on unschooling is now on video. I took the five principles of Libertopia and put them into the context of the unschooling philosophy. I tried to give an overview of unschooling, or at least what unschooling means to me, how our family applied it, how I handled my anxieties, etc. So if you are curious about unschooling and want to learn about it from the perspective of one family, I hope this helps. (FYI, there is background noise for the first 6-7 min but then it sounds fine.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAiLpcrbVms

Wes Bertrand Great! Thanks, Debbie. For future reference, you're welcome to add such vids to the "Videos" page here. :) I'm looking forward to watching it, as well as some of the others that are now posted. I viewed John Rafanello's inspiring talk the other day: Living Free and Happy in an Unfree World http://youtu.be/nIoHr_T7Gyc

Wes Bertrand Thanks, Rob. I'd not heard of him. Sadly, the wikipedia page shows that he was a really troubled guy...called it quits at the tender age of 36. Also it notes that "Politically, Ochs described himself as a 'left social democrat'." Hmm, maybe if he had lived longer he could have made it to the idea of complete liberty.

Rob Miller Wes, I certainly agree. his lyrics are rife with tributes to unions and the like... I am drawn to his music, nonetheless, because I had never heard such outspoken brashness toward the military - especially in his time! Please see: http://youtu.be/L5pgrKSwFJE

    Ray Charsley
Ray Charsley Ray Charsley I'm not an intellectual by any stretch of the imagination, but what I have learned from the internet, you tube in particular via Stefan Molyneux and others has spiked my interest. I like what I hear and feel I need to learn more about how to put it in my own words to be able offer it others.
